over contrasted, but your getting better at making render and backgrounding flow, text needs tons of work, try making it the style of the signature itself instead of a random bubbly font. (maybe default hard to tell by just a white outline)

keep practicing, might want to add more tones to the background, since i only see about 3 or 4, its very basic atm.

Yea i really wasn't sure about the text. I kind of wanted it to look happy. And by tones what exactly do you mean?

pretty much its the amount of shading the colors have, notice the face has a much greater amount of light to dark color and shade, while the background only has one or two levels of light to dark.

it would be nice if the background had more contrast and level of shading.

Hmm... I'll do that when i have a little more time.
