Made it for a friend. I don't think I'm done. think it still needs alot of work. i was thinking of getting rid of that moon.

Its looking good so far to me i only think the moon stands out like it doesn't fit in but it looks hott to me though still
Yeah, the moon is the biggest problem. Needs to be darkened like the rest of the planets, now it's just bright as can be.
Other than that, it's looking great.
yah i know. i need to put a shadow on the moon. and i really need to work on those nebula's. this project is gonna take me a while. i wanna through in an astroid field somewhere.
Some pointers:
- The main planet/moon is way to close to a sun for it to be realistic.
- That second lightsource might have been a nice thing to see in this wallpaper.
- The moon needs a "shadow crescent" like the main planet.
- The nebula "stars" are way to big to match the other background starfield in a nice way, this is unrealistic. (most stars on a starfield looks roughly the same size)
This is a nicely composed unrealistic spaceart piece though, i like that planet texture.
Your sun texture would look way better on a smallscale with some more "sunny" colors and not ketchup and mustard!
The texture on that mainplanet looks really nice!
Good job.
thanks for the tips. i will take it all into account as i work on it more.
