Logo Design and then some.

Basically. I want to market myself as a brand over just "Brad Monette" for my photography. I'll be looking to do model shoots and weddings that kind of thing. So I've developed a brand "White Tie Photography". Along with it, I also developed this logo.

The issue I'm having now, is coming up with a suitable colour scheme that can be transferable to a complete corporate identity: website, letterhead, business cards.

Any comments, tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

I really like the brown too. Great colors.

Agreed, the first one looks better, because the green works better with the brown, and black is over used nowadays. I'd use the brown for the main writing in a letter head, and the green for any italics or so - wait, no, interchange what I just said.
As for the website: brown background, green titles, white font - and business cards...well, you pretty much have it right there in your logo.

After much cleaning up, trial and error and a whole lot of cursing at Photoshop I'm down to to potential winners. Time for the final decision to be made.

I'm personally leaning more towards the sans-serif version.

if you're set on those two new ones, I'd pick the one on the left.

but I like the first brown version more. it's a lot cleaner.

the problem with the first one was the typo didn't fit, leading and kerning were way off on the "photography" and the tie looks like crap. I cleaned up the tie a lot, and the different font would, theorhetically let me attract an older, more mature audience, such as somone who was getting married.

I think you could go both ways and still have it looking professional.. :) The brown does match the green and it's not as bright for those with sensitive eyes.. The black, however, does bring out better contrast than the brown one..

Now.. For the last two images posted, I believe the one on the left is a better font. However, I think the "P" in photography needs to come in just a tad and be even with the edge of the "W" in the word white. I also think the "Photography" needs to come up closer to the "White" text. Not too much, just a tad bit..

Overall, I really like what you have design wise.. Looks very nice and professional.. ;)

I like the one on the left. But i don't liek the font you used for the White Tie text. It just looks...Bleh in my opinion. I dunno. Besides the text awesome job.
