A little taller wouldnt hurt. i dont like the border and the render dont fit with the over brushed bg. sorry to be so hars on you. Text and blending needs work to.

dont make the stock bevel and emboss or w/e you did. im also gonna say start moving away for the tech-border things. (they still look better than when i was making them though)
i agree try and just using 1 pix black boarders simple but good...the render doesnt fit with the colors that much either...and the blending needs work with both the text and render...and make the text a little smaller
