Beauty before death

So i found my shitty camera, and just went out trying it here is one of the shots.

I'd read some tuts on composition. also work on your coloring. Did you use a flash too? it kinda looks like it. If you did i wouldn't use flashes.

Well I know absolutly nothing about this kinda stuff but I'll try XD Let's see from my point of view its a nice picture I couldn't say on composition and lighting cause I know nothing about it but if I had to say anything I would say if ya could try to blur out the background a bit more to bring out the flower just a tad bit more thats all

Flash >.<

If you absolutely have to use flash, diffuse it a bit by sticking like.. a piece of paper infront or something, so that you dont get the harsh... flashiness lol, otherwise Its quite a nice photo =]

Okay thx for the tip can use anything dont know anything on photography.

Well i decided to retake the photo, but today the flower was dead. :o
