My best portrait yet, from my time in Gothenburg. My friend David and his Emporio Armani glasses. :)
Postwork is a little contrast and removal of a pimple. Lighting was perfect that day, I just added a slight bit of contrast as a finishing touch.

Thats a really good portrait. Nice lighting, and the depth is perfect I think, much more and it wouldnt show his position, less and it would distract from the face. Very good composition, im sure he's pleased!

You know Martin, I'd like nothing more than to take portraits like you do, my dad has a Nikon N75, and I can get my hands on a pretty nice digital canon, and I would like nothing more than maybe a beginners guide to portrait photography. I know I can just google one, but I'd love to hear your take on the subject.
