Take the scanlines off his face and well it seems too bright to me. I'd tone it down just a tad.
I like version 2, honestly I think the green in the background behind him is too bright other than that I think its very well blended in and it flows really nice, I don't think it's overdone.
Remove the blut gaussian, it doesnt look good and the colors are very monotone. the blending isnt bad.
