I really like the concept, I just don't like the transition, and the outline.
But again, I love the idea.
yeah the transition could be more gradual. there's also a line that kinda splits the effects on the right side if you didn't see that. you might as well make the checkerboard background there actually transparent. cool idea. doesn't look finished though.
Im not keen on the inter change of outline to the actually color it threw me off a bit but nice for your 1st LP

Yeah, I think a transparent bg would work quite well...
Effects on the right seem kinda blurry to me :(
