I'll update it when I make more, and I sometimes use the tuts here, so thats why you may see some similarities.

hmm they have the same feel to them lol, the lines and everything, got a real kind of mario bros feel to it, nice depth, not exactly my favorite type but its good none the less

I like the idea of bg but you need to fit in the render... ;)

The first one is properly the best, the second the render just dont fits a bg like that.
You need to find a way to blend your rende maybe with some effects in front of her. this style isnt my favourite i dont like the bg:p sry.
