first try

I recently started to use ps again after getting hold of ps cs2..
anyway been trying to get the hang of some new stuff, smudging , blending ect anyway i came up with this ..c&c please..:)

ooh, i love the background, nice and fiery.

I like it. its pretty good, maybe try some different photofiltering and gradient maps and i like the effect of like the fiery looking background with the guy running out of it, but like... the render is maybe a tad too big, plus it could use a little blending near the back hand (or axe whatever it is) cuz it pops out too much, and the text could be placed maybe a little different and make it smaller, its an overall good sig

Personally, I like the render, good size. Otherwise, I feel as though it would be too empty. Very nice background. MAybe work on the text a bit? Keep it up man, Good Job

Not a bad sig. The render can ultimately be any size it's the artists opinion on how big or small it should be. IMO it's a tad too big but keep it how you like it.
I guess i only have one real thing i would change and that would be teh text. It stands out a lot. I would try blending it more or moving it away from that black on the right there. I'm liking the bledning on this one as well. The lighting could probably be a little brighter on the left side but it's not too bad. Keep at it.

Well i not to kean on the texh could be placed better and the font dont match. The bg isnt bad, but could use some more work the render could use a bit more blend. but solid for a start
