As per Daemon's and Papa's comments, I went and tried a more artistic sig to include depth and lighting.

Really awesome use of lighting but as Daemon said, using the eraser tool instead of a blur on the right side would have been much better. I think the text looks fine where it is but maybe try blending it into the background a bit more - it looks a tad too 'cut and pasted' at present and it doesn't really suit the overall concept of the signature. :)
