"The Abyss" looks really really good, nice work. I'd like to see less clouds and more land or water but it looks good.
The planet in "Floating Planet" looks really good too, but this piece is kinda boring. It's a large, blank black canvas. Maybe crop it vertically and add some text to the right side, a quote about space or something.
The stars in the Abyss looks really odd. You should google some. I know one that is pretty good hang on i'll find it.

I never goit that good at space scenes besides being able to do that tut lol. BUt daemons pretty amazing at space stuff as well as Martinbabies and i think rob is too...Not completly sure though.
Edit: it's not that the stars look fake it's just it's very overwhelming with all of those lines. See if you can minimalize the lines.
Awesome job on the planets though they look very very good.
You should delete those lines and fill empty space by using other methods. Try some nebula tutorials or add some planets or clouds(a way to make nebuleas..sort of). And the 'star' in the upper middle should be much brighter. I guess you lowered it's contrast or brightness but it does not look good and real at all. Add more contrast or almost hide that spot.
I really like the way you filled the bottem part of the image. It really adds something to the image.
The planet is really nice. As Shadow Warrior said, it's a little boring, but I guess it's jsut about the planet, and not about the whole piece. I really love the planet. The texture is really sharp and looks photorealistic! I love that. Nothing to say about it ;)
Hey, thanks for all the advice, and fyi: the planet one is a wallpaper, so that is why I didn't crop it or anything.
Once again, thanks!
