splash page

getting back into design and i just made a splash page for my site. used 3d render from legal site. tell me what you think.

not bad
but a little dull. looks like you did this:

open render
ctrl + U
tick colourise box
add text
???
profit

other than the simplicity, i think it looks quite good. shame it's a third-party render though.

he put in some smudging, I'd guess..
The text looks a bit out of place.. too bold. DON'T use outer glow..
boring colours ;/ If you want more colors, heres a simple way to add some..

1 new layer,
2 take the rainbow-like gradient,
3 drag across the screen (not whole),
4 put the blending option to color

Splash pages can be a pain with SEO, Add a META description so google etc will display it and users will know what ur site is about. :P

As for the design its looking sleek good job!
