those effects are really well done. make a tut like just for those effects, unless its just like scatter smudge with clipping masks >_> anyways. i dont really like the text but, it seems like it has some depth, im not gonna say it needs more but it might. and his colour seems too different from the bg imo. idk try a photofilter or gradient map. well done overall though.

Yeah, I had some problems with the colors, I don't really like it either i just couldn't make it better:/ I have used photofilters and gradient maps but they didn't work well.
To get that "steamy' ( i can't find a better word for it:P ) effect at the had and at the chest I have used vertical spray strokes-> gaussian blur-> than i rotated the image, used ripple, rotated it back and than erased the parts i didn't need.
As I remember I also set the blending to lighten.
