but with the first one the top of the ddaisy is a little blurred

First one is best by far:)
Should maybe used a bit higher F nnumber to get more of the petals focused.
But all in all i love it:D

I think you should choose a smaller lens opening for a bigger depth of field. I think it's better if the whole flower is sharp.

but maybe that's just personal :)

but i didn't know camera lenses were interchangeable
i don't think mine is. its just some standard digital camera :(

Where you shooting in macro mode on your point and shoot?

Macro shots are super hard on compact p&s. Can't blame you.
