personally I like the first one better... mainly due to the fact that the girl displayed looks "warmer".

and maybe put a overlayed white 1 stroke border
I edited the first post and added another sig. Could I get some C&C on it please. =)
The first feels smooth and fits the render pretty well.
The second one has a good concept in the text and the bg looks fine except from one patch in the bottom left corner that doesnt seem to fit the rest.
Personaly I like the 2nd one. Its got a nice style, and feel about it. Plus the text is great :)
