as for the logo, the V isnt bad, I like the look youve given it, the only thing I see thats a bit awkward is at the corners of the V on the left and right side where it starts to bend back in. The way you have the shines on it, it just looks a bit strange. It also looks like theres a bit of conflict with your lightsource. both sides of the V shouldn't be exactly the same because of it. but other than that, the shape is clean, i like it, lookin good.
