needs a border
It has a one pixel black border it looks like. The dude is waaaay too contrasted. It seems like a lot of people like to overcontrast these things... anyway, tone that down and make the text a little more legible. The background doesnt look bad, but its sort of a vicious cycle here. If you tone down the contrast on the guy, he wont fit in as well with the background and he'll look out of place (more so than he does now) but if you dont turn down the contrast, the character doesn't look very good. Just find the right balance ;)
