I like it, it looks different from what most people are doing. I think it's nicer then your current personally, you current seems pretty generic to me. The only thing I would touch up is the text, it looks like it says "lardo" to me. Overall gj, keep up the good work ;) .

The render looks like KOSMOS from Xenosaga, or a resonable facsimilie.
it is Kos-Mos,from the up and comming Xenosaga 2,cant waitt! anyways,back to the sig.i agree with that one guy,the sig has a certain soft feel to it,but theres not enough detail,maybe if you continued the entire sig with the effect you achieved on the left,it would be a little better.
