Number 2 is my favorite but you need to use some variety in you text, don't always use those two lines above/below the main text and find other places for your pixel fonts.

yeah, i like the 2nd one too, try using different font styles though.... like he said ^

Ive always had a difficult time with Text.

I'll get the Piece of art done, then I stumble on the text, :(
