hardcore (duh) guys from new york city + fast and furious punk (think punk with a few elements of metal) = hXc

i h8 emo with a fiery passion, but hXc is ok (everybody check out Minor Threat, hardcore band)

Ah yes, but being an emo kid he must have hxc influences because they're both in the "scene" now. And soon enough he will become a hxc kid, they all do. Oh and screamo is hardcore. ^^

screamo is barley hardcore. they think they're hardcore, but all the pointless screaming just makes them sound like even bigger pussies
