The bottom one is too monotone and the border needs to be put above the render.
Yeah i forgot all about the shadows and highlights,i was so tired when i made that...
Try simpler text.. And never bevel your text.. Add more colours + depth to your 2nd one..
1st one looks ok except the way that the bg blends into the right side looks ugly..

Text needs to be bigger because you have a lot of blank space other wise.. make it bigger but move it away from the centre line.

Haha just personal preference..
i made the second one anim. so i think im just gonna re-do the whole thing.
I like the second more the first for some reason. :P
