I like that Street Fighter text effect.
Lower the contrast a bit.. Well the chaotic look seems to go well with the text... the text on the 1st one is kinda hard to see... use a single colour.. ;)
1st - Text needs major work, and that render is WAAAAY overused!
2nd - Love the effect coming from his hand, i like his eyes, and i like the text
