snow tutorial :)

1 geta pik or sig that you want to add the snow to i chose this

2 now make a new layer and fill it with black then filter nois add noise 400 uniform monochromatic

3 filter blur gaussian and have that 1.5 and click ok

4 now press CTRL L to bring up the levels and choose these settings

5 now merge to 2 top layers and set it to screen

6 now do step 2-5 about 3 or 4 more times NOTE: Do not duplicate the layers

7 go to imageready and duplicate it as manny lyers of snow you have.like lets say i have 4 snow layers so i duplicate it 3 times so i have 4 framed in my animation window

8 in the first frame make only the first layer of snow visable and in the second frame make only the second layer of snow visable just keep doing this utill you have all your frames done then
9 wen you finish that set all the frames to 0.1 so it a lil slower


NOW YOUR DONE

Cool, but the only problem with it is that it doesn't really look like it's falling, looks like it's just appearing and disappearing. Rain effect looks much more realistic, but this is still a good tut anyways :D

the more layers you have the more realistik <_<

lol, never tried making snow before, i&#39;m gonna try this tutorial out. thanks koolkidd. :P
