Your text definitely needs some work. Check out some text tutorials, they do a much better job that me. A lot of your backgrounds are very flat, and the renders don't blend into or suit the background very well.

Just take a look at tutorials around here and you'll get a lot better.

I realize I'm not a graphics king by any means, but I hope you take my opinion for what it's worth.
