i dont like either version. 1st one is too bright and 2nd is too dull. if you did the fade gaussian blur thing then lower the opacity of it so its not that bright yet still has depthness. i like that captain american font, looks good imo. i dont like the outer glow thing on the dudes back leg.
anyway nice job dude, you are improving.
