HL 2!

I bought HL2 and CS:S today, and HL2 was a total problem. This is a common problem with the game, where everything just stutters, no matter what your computer specs are, even if you got the best computer out, it could still happen to you. I returned it today, very very angry and disappointed.

2 questions:

1. Anyone else had this problem?
2. Can you buy CS:Source on it's own?


This message is sort of like a warning to watch out when buying the game, and make sure you CAN return it if it stutters.

This is a real disappointment to me, as Valve shouldn't of even released the game without fixing this problem.

That is exactly what i did, as that's what it told me to do. I did that, and still stuttered like a beyotch. I looked through the net for the same problem, and tonnes of people have the same problem.

I do have NVIDIA, and my computer specs own the reccomended ones for HL2, and it stuttered really really bad.

I dont have that problem, the only thing thats was wrong with HL2 for me was it kept crashing beacuse I didn't have the latest drivers.

mm, have u did a virus check?
and maybe try ad-aware..
Dont blame Valve cuz tis a great game :P

Yes, did a virus check, i got ad-aware too, it's not my computer that is the problem.

tried reinstall?
