100 % photoshop! I've included white and black borders because they all look different depending on the forum skin. :) White looks best on dark backgrounds, black on light.
Heres a quick manip, thrown together spontaneously... It involved me swearing alot because I couldn't make it look how I wanted. I swear I used to be much better at photoshop before I was isolated from my computer.
I like your plants one pretty good, not the text though..

I like the 2nd one more..
Not liking the lighting on the 1st one.. Don't know why.. But I think the colours on the planet don't fit.. Nice try tho.

Lumix, yeah, I guess the lighting wasn't very good. Instead of making them as a sig, I made each part, and then just threw them together. The glow on the planet was aqua, the star behind it was red? What was I thinking :D. Good point.
