Winrar

I have winrar, but when i download something and i try to open it in winrar nothing happens and im probably not doing it right. Someone please help me.... I probably a n00b for asking this but o well. :wacko:

first of all... what kind of file is it?
Usually you can just right click and there will be a whole lot of opitions for extrating, compress, etc. usign WinRAR

You should just press Extract files and it should do the job. It depends what you're trying to do. Like if you downloaded a video tutorial and it's a .rar file, you right click it and press "Extract file" or "Extract here" whichever..and it should do the job.
