I like v2 more. And good job Buch, I see improvements coming from you, that's great. This time, I suggest you start working on the depth because I don't see much depth in these two signatures. Also, some parts are too bright with white brushing, I think you went over with that.
I also suggest you work on the lighting so that it fits where the light shines into the render. Keep it up and good job :)

I've been having a go at learning how to use curves and level properly. Still alot of room for improvement :)
Try to lessen your brushing.. And find the right spots to brush.. It makes the sig cleaner and gives it more flow..
nice, i like no.2 better, but your transfer from dark to light there is a nit to rough
