Made this for a comic book battle in the battlegrounds section..If you didn't know its the Green Lantern and Silver Surfer...not big on comic book characters but these are my favs. Comments welcome as always :D

i love the effect you've done... love the course look. love the renders and the text is nice and clear, but not sure on the placement on Mr Lantern. but i'm just nit pickin.
whats wrong with his placement?
the head of green lantern i reckon is too close to silver surfer's buldging muscles. I can't decide if its sposed to be an action scene where green latern is sposed to be hitting surfer dude or if its just how they lined up.
Personaly I would have put a slightly bigger gap is all. Of course it all may make sense, lantern and surfer are not dudes i was into when i was into comics... :-D

hmm you have a hard time getting that render in with the fist and all i spose. so its not realy easy to see what could be done without reduceing the size of the render
There is a gap between Lantern's face and Surfer's muscles its like | | <-that wide
hehe, yeah, i agree its like | | that wide. Its just the initial impression i got when i looked at it. Personaly I would have put a bigger gap in it to make it clear its just two seperate characters, not an action scene.
But then you would be fighting with the size.

It does look alittle wierd, however i don't think its the gap thats the problem, i think if the green lantern was a smaller size... it sort of seems as if his head is about the size of the surfer's torso.
Having said that, i still love the ownage of the colours, how it goes from the orangie colour to that green, very nice.

U got a perfect combo there...cartoon and grunge...i give ya 8.5/10 man :P
limitless, no i dont, i actually dont use it very much anymore, but it goes very well with abstract stuff and i used to use it all the time.
