i spent quite a while making this, most of the time on the stony look to the text and the ring, and the lighting effects(with that i dont mean the lightnings, i mean the light that comes on the text :blink:) and yes, the bg's just plain clouds... :(

Hummm i have seen something like this before, *coughs* Twan and oldeback *coughs*....lol. Yeah good job. Myabe a better bg? It only a render clouds.
pretty cool. i can tell you spent time on the lighting. the glow around the lightning and the ring around "DE" are both pixelated (especially at the bottom of the ring). you could fix that lightning glow pretty easily tho, just blur it out a bit and it will look smoother.

added 1 px motion blur with angle 0 to the ring, de and the skull

I think the idea for the design is uber with a little work i would say that it would be worth at least a 9.

very nice, personaly i dont like the lightning, but i tend to find lightning always looks a little umm.. superimposed, its hard to get right... so i'm biased... very nice work though, love the skull, love the ring and love the other effects.
Isn't that similar to the one twan made for his crew?
thats pretty nice, its very pixelly in some parts tho :(
