just worked out how to do text effects on this photoshop(elements), so my text should slowly start getting better

I don't particularly liek the text, but as you said, your working on it. a few peices of advice would be that: Glowing doesnt work well on pixel texts. Pixel texts ARE NOT to be used as the main font on a signature (Like you did), they are meant for small quotes etc. (Tiems new roman and arial own pixel text tho :P) and shouldn't be used above 8 pt and should always have no Anti Aliasing (aA). The background looks relatively good and I think what you did with your text "Hippy" Is great!
tjoobie, has it right about the texts, i think you should work on blending render now
text is off, bg lacks depth and just looks dull overall
download pscs2 trial
get pc cs seriously..text isnt great but the rest isnt really awesome either I'd say..
