Don't know if I'd call it dark... Looks like a lot of black with some white and text.
Easy on the image overlays, sometimes it looks like they worked well, but mostly they don't.
Try to have more details in your stuff, that's what counts... And originality ;)
add more to the left and right and I'll be perfect :)
