Interesting, I think the lighting needs work, and a little tweaking of the materials (I like the glassy effect though). Be careful with the 2d, its one of those pieces where 2d can either make or break it very easily :).

Looks cool so far, but as spluff said, needs some tweaking especially to the material.
It looks wicked to me, but because I haven't used that program I can't really give any useful comments.
nice, but the edge of the render on the bottom left feels out of place to me(it's curvy where all other edges are straight), lighting material looks pretty good at the moment.
i think this WIP has great potential, knowing you :)
