You did barely anything to it. Photo-manips should have significant difference between the stock and end product. That looks you've done barely anything. I hate seeing people try and pass off stuff like this for a manip.

I don't think you're alowd to take pictures from deviantart and use them for sigs, I got banned from a site for doing that.

Firstly, I agree with sobek. I'm usually the one to say it. Second, you are allowed to use certain images from deviantart (they must be catagorized under stock photography) and even then the photographer often wants you to either get permission or at least show him/her what you did with it. This however, is not stock photography. Its under "art photography" so this would be considered ripping. Being that you posted your source, I seriously doubt you knew that it was ripping. That being said, just don't do it again ;)

dA lmao, the only sight I know in which you can take a picture of yourself in front of a mirror, upload it, and get thousands of views and comments about it being 'inspirational' and 'awe inspiring'.
Please, Google Image Search is more artistic.

That may be true in many cases, but the point of using stock photography isn't to find an artistic photo, its to find a royalty-free photo and make it artistic.

That is not a photomanip. I'm sorry, but u hardly did anything to the pic. I would post another site on here wher you can see true manips, but then I might get in trouble. But even on dA, if you search for manips u'll see some actual ones. It's a nice attempt at something, but it's not a manip.
