well .. here my current work .. well .. i don't know .. something is missing,
i also search for brushes like wet paint, so that drops of the paint run down ...
i also tried to put it an a wall, so that it looks like a gang-tag (like in my signature)

I don't know if you can get hold of a copy of the Alien Skin Eye-Candy 4000 filter plug-in or similar but it has a really good "melt" filter that you can use to make a pretty decent simulation of paint drips.
I used it for this anim sig I made a while ago:

Lol... that's what the plug-in is for.. you put it into your PS folder and it adds to your filters..looky:

Google for it.. and you can get tons of other filter plug-ins and stuff if you know where to look and what to look for.
