not bad, but the background can be a bit more interesting.

I like (lurv?) the background, but all in all, it looks like your just going through the motions. There's no sense of direction or power to it, and it seems stilted. The sprite looks stationary (which is bad, because if it was stationary it would be falling over) - probably not helped by the fact that it is placed smack bang in the middle of the canvas.

I like v1 the most, though.

You need more black (colour). Keep working on it.. Maybe add more interesting elements in there..
