Pretty cool actually...I like the style, but right now it's looking pretty flat overall.
Ok it's flat, but vector style is flat or am i wrong?
By the way i tried to add some "depth" to it adding a little lightning effect, not too convinced about it..
Also added a version with different border..

Gradient maps help to improve depth, or a lighting source.
You are definitely improving, and I like v2 the best.
