Perhaps a little, particularly in the cutouts. They leave the perspective ambiguous, something I have also tried to convey through confusing the lightsource, which is probably why it looks weird. Naturally it's supposed to look a little surreal, but if that's not what people are getting, it's probably because well... I'm not that good.

As for there being no clear focal point, I can only say, no, there isn't. I don't think it suffers too badly for that. There'd be no rationale in making any one point stand out from another since it's not really meant to look realistic.
