banner and buttons

tell me what you think of the banner and buttons

Buttons are fine, they blend well with the theme, but could maybe be a little darker. I don't like the banner at all, it looks really unpro.

The layout and the forum look real smooth! Not a very original color selection, but very well made nonetheless.
Only thing that bothers is the banner. It looks really dirty, with an easily recongizable PS bevel & emboss. I'd say make a new banner, heck, you could use sig tutorials here on CX to make a banner that size, and change the fonts. Make it a bit more colorful, more eye-drawing... Make the banner have more of an "impact" on those who enter the site. It's one of the few places in a layout you can go really wild.

ok, ill try some stuff, not all the forum was made by me :)

Hmm yeah, I think you'd get better results if you hunted around for a better banner to base your ideas on. Even if you got yours to look exactly like that I would have posted the same comment as I did before.

I think you'd probably do better looking for a tech style tutorial.
