20+ layers as of now.
2 renders from AA.
mostly brushing with standard brushes/pencil

looks messy, try some defaults... and try diff colours it lokin kinda monotoned..

standard brushes are defaults, it wasn't meant to be clear - i never wanted just the render, a couple of brushstrokes, and some text - i wanted more of an atmosphere if that makes any sense. but thanks for the comments.

i understand what your going for its just a bit oversaturated (or contrasted not sure which) and the lighting is strange

Looks pretty good, if I were you, I would just bring the render on the left out a bit more and possibly flip it horizontally.
