I do alot of photo manipulations for some Yahoo groups I belong to. I love doing them. Please no ripping w/o credit. I made these for a Yahoo group I am currently in, we roleplay. (Dont judge me! lol) And the others are just for fun. Any thing "Hayden" Related is for the group. Buffy stuff is for fun.

It all looks good and all (i'm kinda confused what this is exactly for still), but I suggest you smooth our your text. (Read the anti-aliased text tutorial).
I also suggest you use the Blur tool around the edges to make a smooth out a bit. I suggest you read the blending basics tutorial too, that may help you (and your artwork out too)

Other then that, they look pretty good.
Here is one I just did as a request from my friend. She uses Holy MArie Combs as a character model (someone that her made-up character looks like) for a yahoo RPG. Her name is Maria Martinez.

I like the backgrounds, but, yeah...what are they for?
the softened edges look much better.
He edited into the first message what they are for - they are for a Role Playing community or something like that. The Mario Martinez one looks MUCH better than the ones above (the text looks so smooth, along with the character(s)).

Well, I do like the Maria one.. Its just, better. Although the image on the left of that looks a little too blurred.
