Okay i have to Design a paintball jersey for my paintball team, we will be ordering the jerseys from a website with a pre existing template.
the template what they offer is in .ai format, so it is ment for illustrator. To be honest, i have no clue what so ever about illustrator so i need a little help.
I need to know if there is any way possible that i could use photoshop to design the jersey and somehow import it to illustrator. the website which i got the template says to make it in illustrator so that it will keep its integrity and not become pixelated, is this possible todo, by importing the file from photoshop?
thanks for any help that you guys can assist me with

Anything youmake in illustrator is automatically a vector.
A vector can be scalled up to any size without losing quality (aka becomeing pixaly)
No matter which you use your going to want to use 300 dpi as well as CYMK. CYMK = cheaper for print.
I would use illustrator. If you don't it will become pixelated and look like a crappy deisgn. Though it depends one how big you are gonna make the design. If it's small from far away a few pixels wont matter. It's up to you though.
Your definetly goign to be better with illustrator.

if you design anything in Photoshop it will be pixalated, unless you save it as Photoshop EPS with vector data included. It's a meter of resolution, the higher resolution, the smaller pixels. So if your resolution is something about 300 ppi, that should be suitable for jersey. But vector file designed in illustrator would be still better.
