I just read like 50 tutorials before trying, made one sig on GIMP and got bored a while ago.
I'm gonna start GFXing and be serious about it.
Made 3 differently lighted version, I'm bad at telling what "good lighting" is.

I personally like 3rd one best.

I like the first best. Just because i feel like..There is a line of saturation that stops at the neck. I think it's the yellow that makes me think that.
The BG is a bit too blurred for me. It has some nice depth but it just looks a bit too blurred. Try to sharpen it up and add some mroe to it.
the blending needs a bit of work. I can see each edge of the render. Try to smudge a bit over him around the edges it will help to add more blending. It's always hard to blend render like this though. Thats why i never use anime/etc. renders.
The c4d makes for a call effect so you did well on that.the coloring isn't too bad either. GJ keep at it.
i agree entirely with papa, listen to him and i think you'll be great.
