It's a start I'd say.
It's very empty though.
Render pretty much just looks pasted on without any real blending in with the rest of the BG.
It's all pretty much just 1 color and text needs alot of work.

Also, as Zole said, never a good idea to put your render smack dab in the middle like that, especially one as vertical as the one you're using here, since it usually creates a whole lot of empty space to either side.

Work in progress here, so take a nother stab at it and post what you come up with, I think you're off to a decent start.
