Ok, Im fairly new to photoshop. Probably been using CS2 for 3 months now. But havent used it in a month and started using it again yesterday. I made this sort of abstract maybe? art piece.
There will obviously be lots of things to improve on. Can someone tell me what i would need to do to make it much more eye-catching?

I like the nice ripple effect in the middle, it almost looks like sand. Although I agree with Immortal, the text on the side kind of ruins it. Text needs to be subtle but legible. :D
