Make smaller and read some tuts on this site especially a text tut the text on that is Horrid Man come back with update after you have read some tuts
This is a bit dark for my taste. Work on making it brighter. It looks like you had a lightsource but black over it a bit. I would have liked to see it with the lightsource.
The text is okay, I'm glad you used a default however don't use bledning options, they dont work out well in the end and tend to look pretty unpleasent.
The BG isn't bad, but it's hard to see anythign with it being so dark.
Finally i suggets you make the sizing of it a bit smaller. HUge sigs like this are hard to work in when you are begining, smaller siges are better because you can make them see more full with less work.
