The BG is a bit messy and it's cool you solved that by blurring it. But that doesn't make for good depth. You need to sharpen some of it so you can get a depth of feild going.

The text is perfect, but the lighting bolts seem really random, i'd toss them out.
Not bad but seems a bit, tossed together like you said haha.
