um....al you did was c4d AND cliping mask rape.....

^ ^ Maybe clipping mask and c4d is all he needs. He also added gradients, light source and text. By the look of your sig this tut is better then what you could do sorry.

It's pretty good, but I don't really like the outcome. It looks a bit cluttered.

hmm.. to busy IMO. Maybe a slight gaussian blur on the bg make the subject more apparent.

Nice tutorial, I kinda added my own touch to it. Plus the blur helps alot to cut through the clutter and have a focus
